Introduction
The famous Kane Wildlife Sanctuary is spread over an area of 55 sq km. it lies in West Siang, in the gorgeous state of Arunachal Pradesh in India. A large number of tourists visit this beautiful sanctuary from all over the world. It is an ideal place to spend a vacation in since it is away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The climate here is absolutely breath taking; the different number of species of animals, trees and flowers makes the sanctuary a beautiful place to visit. It will have you spellbound by its beauty. The beauty of the sanctuary is gorgeous. There is so much to explore here in the dense forests of the Kane Wildlife Sanctuary. One can easily see tigers, lions, panthers and elephants in the forest.
History
In the year 2007 in the month of April, the forest was declared to be a sanctuary. The present area of the park is about 55sq km. The sanctuary comes under the Wildlife Protection Act of the Indian government.
Weather and Best Time to Visit
The climate here is very hot and humid in the summer months, but in the winter months the valleys and the forests especially in the eastern parts become very cold. The average temperature is 15- 21 degrees in the winter months. During the monsoon becomes around 22 degrees. Arunachal Pradesh receives the highest amount of rainfall in the entire country. The best time to visit the sanctuary would be from the month of October to April.

How to reach
By Air:
he along and Lilabari airports are the nearest to the sanctuary. They are about 274 km from West Siang.
By Rail:
Silapathar is the closest railway station from the sanctuary.
By Road:
he Tawang- Tezpur road connects to the sanctuary directly. There are taxis and bus services also easily available on this route.

Wildlife
The bio diversity of the sanctuary is not known too much. Since the climate of the sanctuary is very diverse it has a wide range of green forests and evergreen forests. The most largely found are bamboo trees. The sanctuary is a home to tigers, wild dogs, boars, hornbills and elephants. There a lot of different species of lizards and reptiles found here. There are a lot of species of birds here as well. There are many shrubs and herbs found growing here in the Kane Wildlife Sanctuary.
Major Wildlife Attractions: so far around 70 species of birds have been found in the KaneWildlife Sanctuary. The wood Duck is a commonly seen in the sanctuary. Tiger’s, elephants,wild boars and wild dogs are seen in large numbers in the forests.
Where to Stay:
There are many places where one can stay. The circuit house, the PWD guest houses. Since the sanctuary is visited by so many tourists there are a lot of hotels also present in the vicinity of the park.
Circuit house, along is situated near the DC office. This was open to visitors since the year 1969. The house is 1km away from the Along airport, while Silapathar is 140 km away. There are 13 rooms which are huge in size. Some are VIP rooms while the remaining is ordinary. The rooms are very comfortable and at reasonable prices.

General Information
The state of Arunachal Pradesh is protected hence one needs a permit to visit the sanctuary. These permits are issued by the government easily.
