This park is an eco-friendly park which possesses an innumerable bunch of fauna that are mostly mammals.  The park is engulfed by hundreds of varieties of deers.  Earlier it was started with 15 deers and the number has now increased to about 231 deers along with the increase in the number of visitors.  Park safari is the main attraction of Birsa Deer Park, which gives a closer and clear picture of the roaming deers and nature’s wild life in their natural habitat throughout the park.  There are a lot of lions, tigers, deers and different species of monkeys that seek refuge in the natural surroundings of the park.

Birsa Zoological Park is the most emerging favourite tourist and picnic spot in Ranchi, Jharkand.  People can walk around the park and enjoy a variety of deers moving about freely on their own.  Safari rides are also another attraction of the park.  The park can be visited throughout the year, but the best season is from November to February.  There are beautiful gardens and children’s park, which are an additional attraction to the park.  Birsa Deer Parkcan be easily reached from the Ranchi Airport and Hatia Railway Station.
