In the Pudukkottai district of Tamil Nadu, Aranthangi Fort is located in the Aranthangi town. This fort was built by the Tondaiman Kings in the 16th and 17th century. Near to this fort, a temple of Hindus is present that was constructed in 11th century by the Rajendra Chola.

Main common feature of this fort is that it has interstices that made by filling of mud not with the stone or bricks. There is no symbol of strike building or ruins palace.

There are no more ruins of any fort or pieces of any palace or building were found. Only a limited information have been collected about this Aranthangi fort.
