Navegaon National Park
The NavegaonNational Park is situated in the region of Navegaon, Maharashtra, by a distance of nearly 150 km from Nagpur city. It is one of the most commonwoodlands of the Vidarbhaarea of the state and wasrecognized in the 18th era. Sprawlingabove aregion of nearly 135 sqkm, theflora and fauna park includes a deer park, abirdcage, 3 designedparks and Dr. Salim Ali Bird pserve.
Rollingover the Navegaon Nature Park is the lovely NavegaonRiver that streams with mineralpure water. Throughout this time, Navegaon River is stayedthroughmassiveherds of traveling ducks, which appear to come around with their flashynoises. However the bird reserveon the national park is homegrown to additionalhalf of the fowlclasses found in Maharashtra. The flora hereis primarily of the Southern variegatedparched deciduous form, including Teak,Haldu, Jamun, Kawat, Mahua, Ain, Bhel&Bhor trees.

History
The expanseof parkhas adeepenedpast. This park was shaped in the start of the 18th era by Kolu Patel Kohli. He is currentlyidentified as "KolasurDeo", the governingdivinity on one of the mountainsadjoining the river.
The seven mountainsadjoining the river are called as the "Sat Bahini" or seven sisters. It is whispered that these goddessesaidedKolu in constructing the river. On the border of the river is apinup of Hanuman, the god of strength, whose bottoms are believed to go under the bank.
An island between the ponds is acknowledged as "Maldonger" and was recycled by the rustics as a shelter from the prowling 'Pindaris' (Anethnic group of expertthieves). The zoneround the river is called as the Dr. Salim Ali Bird pserve, in commemoration of the renownedbirdwatcher. Ideal time to stopover this pserve is in the middle of October to June and every winter season, the NavegaonRiverturn into the homegrown to enormousherds of roaming ducks and the foggywinter dawns are described by their flashynoises.
Best time to visit
The park is situated in Navegaon in the Vidharvawoodlandarea in Maharashtra. It spadsthrough an area of 135 sq. km. Anattractive Navegaon riverexpansesabove 11sq. km. April to May is the ideal time to stopover the national park. The weather is pleasurableall over the year. The opening time for the park is from 4:00 am to 7:00 pm.

How To Get There
By Air: Nagpur is the closest airport, it is at a distance of 142-km from the park.
By Rail: is the adjoining railway station is Deulgaon on Chandrapur-Gojndia railway line, which is at a distance of 2-km from the park.
By Road: Navegaonis the adjacent bus stand which is 10-km away from the park.

Wildlife
Flora: The woodland is classic Southern variegatedparched deciduous jwoods. The chiefclasses are Teak, Haldu, Jamun, Kawat, Mahua, Ain, Bhel and Bhor, etc.
Avifauna: Practically 60% of all fowlclassesnoted in Maharashtra are observable at Navegaon. The knowledge and the enjoyment of having covered the crimsonminivet, a bliss fly catcher or the navy blue blaze of a kingfisher browsing the exterior of the river for fish is fairly out of the world.

For lodging, there is outinghomespun, relaxation house, log cabin rest house and youth shelter facility. Clarification centre, slightgallery and booksservices are existed in the park. Seven Guardlog cabin and five lookoutturrets are placed in the park for wild life surveillance and camerawork.
Weather
The weather in Navegaon National Park is warm and rainy. It obtainsfairly a little of rainin the rainy season, which varies frommid-June to September.
